Julie Russell works from her private studio,
Limekilns Studio Ceramics, on the outskirts of Bathurst
in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales.
"I'm incredibly lucky to live in a beautiful bushland setting,
where the ever-changing landscape inspires
every piece I create. My work ranges from playful,
hand-decorated ceramics to the wilder,
unpredictable surfaces of raku and pit-fired forms."
Julie’s ceramics are available at
T.Arts Gallery,
75 Keppel Street, Bathurst.

Tall floral vase
Result of a recent workshop I attended for throwing tall forms. Vase decorated with one of my slip & sgraffito designs.
New work in progress
Working on a mug version of my cubist vases. Coloured slip has been applied & it's waiting to be glazed & fired.

I did a Raku workshop last year at Earth and Fire Pottery in Molong.
Jude Keogh is the owner, potter & a fantastic teacher.
